The Parliament is one voice against the coup d’état
People took to the streets against the coup attempt all around Türkiye. GNAT Speaker Ismail Kahraman came to the Prime Ministry Coordination Center. Here, a decision was taken to keep GNAT open. Deputies were summoned to the Parliament to oppose the coup attempt. After the opening of the GNAT General Assembly Hall, AK Party, CHP, MHP and HDP deputies gathered under the chairmanship of GNAT Speaker İsmail Kahraman. Kahraman went live on NTV, and he stated that he spoke to the group leaders of all parties one by one and gave the message of unity and solidarity.
