Special Forces invasion plan in action

Special Forces First Brigade Commander Brigadier General Semih Terzi called the Commander of Special Forces Zekai Aksakallı on July 15, saying that his father was sick, and asked for his permission to come to Ankara. Upon Aksakallı’s permission, he set off from Silopi together with a team of 100 people. After Ünal’s order, although attempts were made to contact Diyarbakır 8th Main Jet Base, there was no response from Diyarbakır. In the meantime, Semih Terzi took off from Diyarbakır 8th Main Jet Base with a team of 40 people and arrived at Ankara Akıncı Base. Terzi set off with a team of 100 people, divided his team into two groups and came to the Special Forces Command Headquarters with a team of 40. However, with the defense of Ömer Halisdemir, Semih Terzi was killed before he could reach his target.
