The fighter jets of the putschist soldiers that bombed the Turkish Grand National Assembly (GNAT), Gölbaşı Special Operations Department Headquarters, Ankara Police Department and TÜRKSAT, took off from Akıncı Base in Kazan, Ankara. The Police Special Operations Training Center in Gölbaşı district of Ankara was bombed by fighter jets on the orders of coup plotter Colonel Ahmet Tosun. As a result of the aerial attack, 17 police officers were martyred. The names of the bombers were pilot Mehmet Çetin Kaplan and Ertan Koral.
